My plan calls for offering the Beatles a deadline of Friday, December 18th, by which time they must convene and start rehearsing and writing new material. If accepted, recording would commence at Abbey Road studios in London (or some other studio) starting on January 1st, the English New Year.
Given his being held in high esteem throughout the world, perhaps Bob Dylan would be the best person to replace John Lennon, as Sammy Hagar successfully did with Van Halen in 1985, producing four multi-platinum, #1 Billboard charting albums. Now that Bob Dylan is touring in peak form again, perhaps this is one of the options that can be considered. And by inviting The Rolling Stones to the sessions, it's quite possible that many of the Stones' current song writing problems can be solved as well.
If Mandela and de Klerk can negotiate, if the IRA and the British can negotiate, if Israel and her Arab neighbors can negotiate, then certainly Starr, McCartney, the Stones and Bob Dylan can negotiate. I see this as the best path to a true Beatles album, with Honor for all parties – especially Beatles fans who have been waiting for a new Beatles album for 40 years!

VanHagar pissed a lot of people off–for a lot of reasons.
