    On Tuesday, December 8th, voters will choose our next U.S. Senator. In doing so, voters will decide which candidate can best continue the progressive path set forth by our great Senator, Ted Kennedy.

    As my family and I have traveled the state, talking with voters from North Adams to North Andover, North Attleboro to the North End, and many communities in between, people from all walks of life tell me they want a fighter in the Senate, someone who will stand up for them, just like Ted Kennedy did for so many years. No candidate will ever be able to fill his shoes, but we must elect someone who can best follow in his path. I think my progressive record in the U.S. House and my commitment to standing up for my beliefs demonstrates I am that candidate.

    We need your help to make sure we send a strong voice to represent us in Washington, DC. Please join us tonight as we take our grassroots efforts to the next level and continue reaching out to voters across the state over the next 30 days.

    Tonight is our night. We are celebrating the grassroots organization we have built and the progress we have made. We also want to thank our supporters for all of the hard work that has brought our campaign so far in such a short period of time.
