The Endorsement Race (with poll)
While I think we readily agree endorsements don’t win elections, and at the same time union endorsements that can get out a unified vote do make a difference, campaign conversation sometimes turns to the question, who is winning the endorsement race. So who’s winning?

and thus far, polls indicate that Coakley is receiving the endorsement of most Democratic Primary likely voters…those are the endorsements that count the most…expect the numbers to close over the next 2 weeks as opponents slam the leader…but in the end, she will still win by over a 10 %-15% margin. Then we will all be on the same team again.

He is showcasing endorsements from women in politics as a way of combating Martha’s gender-identity political strategy.
<
p>Nancy Pelosi, Kitty Dukakis and Diane Patrick have endorsed Mike at campaign events with news coverage to signal to voters that its ok to prefer Mike, that powerful women in politics choose Mike over Martha. The negative reaction by supporters of Capuano’s opponents to the Pelosi and Partick endorsements signals that his oppoenets reconize this as a threat. Had Pelosi and Patrick endorsed Martha Coakley it would not have been all whine and “roses“.
