On Saturday, Nov. 21, the Democratic senatorial candidates will come to Lincoln to present their case for the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the passing of Sen. Kennedy. This is expected to be the last of the large senatorial candidate forums in the area north and west of Boston before the Dec. 8 primary.
The candidates will respond to written questions from the audience, which can be addressed to an individual candidate or to all candidates. The candidates will have the opportunity to give a closing statement. Joe Mullin of Weston will moderate the forum.
The Third Middlesex Senatorial District Democrats, the Fourth Middlesex Senatorial District Democrats and the Greater Lowell Area Democrats will sponsor the forum, which will be hosted by the Lincoln Democratic Town Committee.
The forum will be held in the Donaldson auditorium at the Brooks School, 6 Ballfield Road, Lincoln. The doors open at 12:30 p.m. with seating at 12:45 p.m. The forum will start at 1 and end at 2:30 p.m.
Campaign literature for each candidate will be allowed in the lobby outside the auditorium, but campaign literature or signs will not be allowed inside the auditorium.

Not in my local area, but a Saturday drive out to Lincoln would be nice and well worth it to see all of the candidates at a forum.

According to a recent e-mail (5 PM Tuesday) from one of the organizers, they are expecting three of the canidates. Rep. Michael Capuano, Alan Khazei and Steve Pagliuca are all listed as expected. It is unclear if they are awaiting a response from AG Coakley or if she has declined the invitation.

Is there anyone out there who is working the event or from the Coakley campaign that could confirm her attendance?

I checked her website, she doesn’t have anything scheduled for that time. Just a breakfast in the morning. Don’t see why she wouldn’t attend.
