After a month of very successful Open Mike sessions, on November 9th, Mike Capauano will host the largest “Open Mike” yet.
Volunteers from across Massachusetts are coming to celebrate the work we have done in this campaign and get us in sharp focus for the final 30 days before the Primary Election.
And to show their appreciation, Team Mike is giving us a chance to enter a drawing to win two VIP backstage passes. With a backstage pass, we will be invited to join Mike backstage from 6-7 PM on November 9th at the Park Plaza Hotel, 50 Park Plaza in Boston. ( The full event will run from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.)
Now having a private moment with Mike backstage would be nice enough, and I'm sure he will be his usual charming, funny, irreverant, self deprecating, energetic self.
But the real treat will be a chance to meet and chat with the star volunteer of the campaign, Barabara Capuano — the person who's been keeping Mike grounded and focused and as calm as it is possible for him to be for over 30 years now. You have seen her with him at almost every campaign event, and she's been doing doing hundreds on her own.
So, RSVP right now and maybe you will win the drawing and a chance to talk privately wih Barbara Capuano. She's the lady in the bright red jacket in the photo standing in front of Mike. (The guy with the red tie). Of course Mike will be standing right behind her, so you can talk to him too.
