<
p>I am sorry that I will not be helping you in this cause.
<
p>I will not be doing so for two reasons:
<
p>1) I will be donating to organizations that have felt the sting of state budget cuts this year. I am doing this because I believe in their causes and feel that my money is better spent there than as a donation to a political campaign.
<
p>2) I feel that Governor Patrick has been a disappointment. He entered into office with much fanfare and after almost three years I am disappointed in his inability to deliver on the promises he made during the campaign. Combined with his total lack of connection with the common voter and worker, I am not convinced that he is the right man for the job. I would much prefer to see him face a preliminary challenger to ensure that his positions are well vetted before the general as well as to make sure he is the best candidate for this fall (I am not sure he is). So I will not be contributing to his campaign.
<
p>I understand good people can disagree and having read many of your posts I know you have a passion for people so I wish you well in your endeavors and look forward to working with you on something on which we agree sometime.
It would be nice if the Governor during a recession when many people (my family included) are cutting back on the holiday celebrations and when the holidays will be terrible for the sick, poor, elderly, and mentally handicapped whose services he cut, it would be nice if he didn’t attend a 500 dollar a plate dinner dedicated to himself and attended by the beautiful people of our Commonwealth.
Sorry Kate, can’t help you or your candidate this time around. I have to reserve the time and money I have for politics in 2010 for cleaning up this mess.
2. Both have moles posting on RMG trying to bash Christy Mihos.
I hope Deval didn’t go to hard on John (letschange3 on RMG). although the poor slob was dumb enough to give his actual name and address. The poor skid was working all Thanksgiving weekend trying to toss shit that would stick to the Mihos wall. None did.
Hint to further Deval mole wannabees: I have Mihos’ back. There is just no defense for Deval.
