Kennedy Seat and Universal Hub have both reported on bizarre fake phone calls made to voters from someone who
claims to be from the Capuano campaign.
The bits of info so far:
“Definitely a man with a heavy accent. Definitely heard the
Capuano. Sounded like it was coming from a live phone room.”
“Both readers said they received calls from someone with broken
English, in which nothing is decipherable except the name “Mike Capuano,”
and the occasional dirty word. I have been told these calls show up as “out
of area” on caller ID. Real Capuano calls show up as “Michael C” (or at
least they do at my house – I got one last night)”
Last minute tricks I imagine?
