To properly fill his shoes we need someone who has the passion, dedication, and experience necessary to continue Ted Kennedy’s work in the U.S. Senate. I believe Mike Capuano is ready to hit the ground running.
Like Ted Kennedy, he has dedicated his entire career to serving the people of Massachusetts; first as a City Councilor, then as the Mayor of Somerville, and then as a U.S. Congressman. In Congress, Mike has established himself as a leader who knows how to fight for his constituents and bring home Federal funding.
We need someone who has his heart in the right place, and knows how to get the job done. If we elect someone with no legislative experience we will be doing ourselves a great disservice. The U.S. Senate is not a place for learning. It’s a place for doing.
We need a fighter. We need Mike Capuano.
