Scott Brown has pledged not to raise taxes.
Because, as we know, junior senators in the minority party are just handed the tax code as soon as they walk into the Senate.
Maybe that’s mean, and I should applaud his stand on principle, however futile.
But I don’t even do that for Democrats, so sorry Scott.

This is a good rhetorical device for Brown and and even bigger opportunty for Martha if she chooses to engage, which she won’t.

p>Her instinct to resist allowing Brown to set the agenda is a good one but she she not eschew an opportunity to sieze it back…
<
p>I’d like to hear her say that the bill for the biggest tax cuts in history, the Bush tax cuts, which cost X, and Bush’s war of choice in Iraq, which was financed off budget on the nation’s credit care are all loans that are past due and that we must pay them off through growth and equitble tax rates like those durng the Clinton administration. Given the economic recession and the job rate, now is not the time to raise taxes but once Americans are gainfully employed we must move back to Clinton era rates.
<
p>She can establish herself as the fiscally responsible candidate, something the Democrats need to do to keep winning elections.

link. Has Martha learned to keep her head down as a campaign strategy? I hope not. Similarly, I hope that is not what she menat by “a different kind of leader.”
<
p>Is Martha a liberal lion when it comes to civil rights? I’s like her to show us during the campaign that she is.

This is Mr. Gail Huff’s strategy? No new taxes? Doesn’t even work for New Hampshire Republicans anymore.

p>When he gets to the thousand points of light line or the BS about compassionate conservatism call me.

p>I pledge to only tax the Republicans that created this deficit.
