Did anyone notice that the camera person(s) was playing favorites at the Kennedy Institute Senate Debate the other night?
The cameraman did a “One Shot” – single focus on Scott Brown durning most of the debate.
When the camera focused on Martha Coakley or Joseph Kennedy they used a wide “Two Shot”.
The was particularly noticeable when Martha Coakley was asked a question by David Gergen and the camera panned out to get reaction shot of Scott Brown to her answer.
When Scott Brown answered a question it was a tight “One Shot” him with no reaction wide shot allowed to see Martha Coakley’s reaction or Joseph Kennedy.
Again, who was in charge of the cameras and why were they playing favorites by focusing on Scott Brown and showing only distant shots of Martha Coakley.
Someone needs to explain and explain now !

should be fired !
<
p>Peter Meade should be ashamed of himself. The debate was I believe the first major event under his direction. Either Peter Meade screwed up or he didn’t oversee the set up and execution of the debate closely.
<
p>Perhaps, Peter Meade has become a Republican….. ?
