  1. President Obama has done so many about faces since taking office I can’t tell his back from his front anymore. I have really loved the debates on healthcare being aired on Cspan. BMGers have obviously avoided commented on Obama’s lies about the TRANSPARENCY which will be used during the healthcare debate. He is on record 8 times saying the discussions will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will be aired ON CSPAN!!!!! HA!!! What a joke, and we believed him.

    p>During the Democratic primary and witnessed by many here at BMG, Martha said she would not vote for the Healthcare Reform bill with any restrictions on abortion funding.

    p>”Although I am disappointed that the Senate bill does not include a public option and that it includes an amendment that gives states additional options regarding the funding mechanisms for women’s reproductive health services, I would reluctantly vote for this bill,” she said.

    p>I’d love to play poker with Martha. BMGers would blow this off as they have with Obama as “Campaign promises”. I hope they are just as easy on Senator SCott Brown if/when he changes any of his positions because I’ll be using the “Those were only campaign promises” every time.

    • I’d trust Martha Coakley way before I would trust Scott Brown.

      George Bush was a bad president and his policies were losing ones.  

      • Ya, we have differing views. 2009 was one of my best years ever with huge increase in 401K and one of my better income earning years. Put an addition on my house… iF someone asks me how 2009 was for “ME” then my answer is Great!!! I do know it sucked for many many others. The Bush years were great for people who took advantage of a thriving economy and a great stock market.

        p>The war was his achilles heel and the excesses of people’s borrowing ruined the economy which brought everything down on us.
