There are also big differences between the candidates on the economy and restoring jobs and thoughtful financial regulation.
On climate change and whether we are going to take this global crisis seriously; on protecting equal rights for all of our citizens; and on how to best fight terrorism and defeat Al Qaeda.
There is a clear choice in this election. And it is up to all of us to get out and vote and exercise our rights as Big Citizens.
Since the primary, I have had the honor of joining Martha on the campaign trail. We need Martha in the senate.
I know that many of you are working hard to make sure that we elect Martha, and I wanted to send my own plea to this group of incredible activists to help. So many of my campaign volunteers have joined with my former staff to set up or attend phone banks and participate in my fund-raising efforts for Martha. But we need everyone. No matter who you supported in the primary, I hope you will show your support for Martha and do everything you can between now and 8:00 pm on Tuesday when the polls close.
So please ask your friends and family to join you at a phone bank or participate in other volunteer and visibility activities. You all know the power of grassroots organizing and together, we can do this.
Thank you for your commitment to our Commonwealth and our country.
With Gratitude,
Alan Khazei
