The Dems got Boston in the bag, this really should have been in Worcester, Lowell, or another West or MetroWest medium sized city with a decent sized arena. Or hell Foxboro stadium right in Browns district. Doing it in Boston doesn’t make a lot of sense to me electorally. Thats not where the votes are-and undecided voters aren’t going to be coming out to Boston to see the President.

This isn’t about undecideds. It’s about making sure lots of sure things show up.

Personally I would have picked New Bedford or Fall River. The corner of the state is in Brown’s neighborhood and often feels neglected. Having Obama come there would have been a big sign the Democratic Party values the South Coast.

how many Brown supporters will show up, and if they will go in or stand outside…

They have been showing up at Coakley events screaming at attendees. According to a couple of my friends, it seemed that many were from out-of-state. Hopefully the cops will do their jobs and keep the peace.

p>They are planning to knock on Auntie Nettie’s door.
<
p>Wouldn’t be funny if Barack showed up at the same time?
