We need to preserve the expertise of Kennedy’s staff. Do we know what these people are doing now? Can progressive Democrats draw on their experience now and in the future?

Brown has kept a few on — I know that he kept the staff expert on immigration, and I would expect that he kept at least some of the constituent service staff. Some will likely be hired by other Senate Democratic staff. Some will, no doubt, go to law/lobbying firms and/or think tanks.
