Richard Howe’s blog broke the news tonight that Senator Susan Tucker will not seek re-election. She still has another year to serve, so her strong voice will still be in place to fight the predatory gaming industry in the coming Casino battles.
Senator Tucker has been a friend to children in foster care, the right to counsel and access to justice, as well as a legislator willing to listen and keep her door open to citizens with concerns about good government, whether or not those citizens are constituents. She will be missed.
