Disabled Add On
The Co-chairs of the Disability Outreach Committee, Cheryl Cumings and Ben Schwartz wish to make a special request for people to reach out to any Democrat they know who is disabled and make sure they are aware of this opportunity. They are also open to talk about this position if anyone has questions.
Youth Add On
In an effort to draw more young people to the convention and into the Democratic Party, we have the Youth Add On position. Anyone who is 35 years or younger may apply. Preference is given to those who live in a town or ward that did not hold a caucus, who attended their caucus and to those in Democratic Organizations.
Minority Add On
To ensure the delegation is representative of the population, we have the Minority Add On form. First preference is given to unsuccessful delegate candidates.
Kate,
<
p>I’m applying to be a youth add-on. Assuming there are more applicants who attended their caucuses and are active in Democratic organizations than there are youth add-on slots, how does the selection process go from there? Is it a lottery or should I be lobbying you to pick me?
It is a lottery conducted by the Youth Services SubCommittee.
