I think it’s great that he interacts with people on the web. Policitians who don’t take the web community seriously are missing out on a great deal of potential support, as well as an opportunity to earn the respect of bloggers and readers.

p>It’s too bad he has otherwise not been listening for a good part of the last three years. His attempt to tax the middle class to balance the budget shows me that he is out of touch with what is going on. There are plenty of areas of waste that can be addressed instead(many of which have been discussed on this site). The fee on car insurance premiums is a really bad idea, and could very well have been the last straw for many people. Especially after he took steps to help lower premiums in Massachusetts.

p>Not being ahead of the health insurance premium hikes. No excuse for that. He says he’s been working on it but I think not as focused and persistent as he could have been.
Health insurance premiums eat whole paychecks. That does not work for our economy. Even now, he often only mentions the burden it places on small businesses. He needs to say that he understands it burdens people too. And not just families, but singles who are working hard to try to pay their bills. It’s too bad he didn’t make that a central focus of the last 2-3 years. He would have been applauded and in much better place than he is now.

p>He seems to have the lingo down pretty well! “Pulleeeze!” and “Deal with it.” LOL

p>Does anyone know if caviar and lobster bought at a grocer are tax exempt?
