We are all familiar with Tip O’Neill’s adage that “All politics is local”. It is a phrase I have been constantly reminded of during my time as a City Councilor in Everett and certainly as a candidate in this election. As your next state senator, you will be able to count on me to champion the larger issues that will keep our state moving in the right direction – job creation and retention, controlling health care costs, finding new and innovative ways to build affordable housing and maintaining local aid – as well as reach out to my office to find high-quality constituent services that will meet the needs of the individual residents of this sprawling and diverse district.
This is an important year for our party and the progressive goals we seek to achieve together. I’m writing to ask for your support on May 11th so we can work collectively to bring about real and sustainable change in our communities and help to improve the quality of life for all of our state’s residents.
