Anyone else notice parallels between Greece’s economy-breaking retirement-at-50 for public workers and local wasteful political sinecures and sickening Massachusetts political retirement abuses and BPD hogs at the trough?

it’s everyone including those who never paid into retirement. The fact of the matter there a tons of exclusions where mostly everyone has an early retirement. There are populations of farmers who lived off the land and never paid into any retirement, now that the farming community in gone, seniors who still live in the valleys are paid a generous retirement, it has gone down some over the past decade but it’s still substantial.

p>It’s kind of like an entire country having a government job and it ingrained as a right to everyone who lives there. There were riots with deaths because they wanted to take away their retirement at 50. Can you imagine? It’s insane.

p>I don’t see the parallels.
