I’m writing to you today to urge you to keep our momentum building by taking part in our grassroots outreach effort 21 in 21 for the 9th District. Over the next three weeks, I will continue reaching out to our communities by visiting all twenty-one cities and towns of the district. (Note: Link is PDF.) This effort is especially important because I believe that a good Representative is an active partner with and a constant presence in the communities he or she represents.
But this “21 in 21” effort isn’t mine alone – I need your help. Here are a few ways you can make this a success today, right from your computer.
1) Contribute $21 to the campaign and get one friend to do the same.
2) Invite 21 friends to join my campaign Facebook group.
3) Recruit 21 friends to follow my campaign Twitter feed.
This has always been a grassroots campaign, and you are my best ambassador to the people you know. Your extra effort and direct outreach to your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers will be what makes this effort, and this campaign, a success.
I again thank you for your energy and generosity, and I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail.

I had a chance to hear and interact with Mac this evening at a house gathering in Milton. He is smart, smooth and sincere. What’s more, he is a progressive. He gets my support.

I parked near the Butler St. T station in Dorchester for a about 4 hours today. Last night I had affixed to my car’s rear window a small D’Allesandro sticker that I got at the house party last night. It’s not a real bumper sticker – it’s the small kind you wear on your shirt or stick on a backpack, etc. I found the sticker had been pulled off and stuck to the top of my trunk. Isn’t that quaint!

Mac has been around town, talked to more constituents of the 9th, as a candidate than Lynch has in a decade of actually being our rep.
