To view or participate in the Throwdown Come one come all. I have something to say so will take a lunch break from the brief I am writing to join in. Besides, some of these votes are “personal” with me – my husband’s work was outsourced to India, and that vote against unemployment was like a kick in the gut to this family.

Thanks for getting in there and talking some sense over the illogical. I can’t believe the arguments against the bank tax. The banks are going to raise consumer fees with or without a bank tax, not because of one. They are already doing so. And a bank tax won’t make the banks stop lending because there is no lending going on to stop. Unbelievable stupidity.

If the big banks tried to pass that along to their depositors, the depositors could easily move to smaller, local banks which are not being assessed the tax. But now the tax will shift to those smaller banks? Thanks, Brownie – heckuvajob, %$#%$#@$#@$@#$@!$…

In an online discussion I can get in as often as I like and if I choose, fill the screen. Comes from working my way through law school as, among other things, a hearings transcriber. At one point, I had five part time jobs and a full time job while in law school as my goal was to graduate without debt (which came before maximizing grades in my eyes, actually).
