Tom Roache ran a very good grassroots doorknocking campaign last time and did very well against Ross. So this district is doable.
<
p>Welcome, Stan. We look forward to working with you.

I have been told that as well as I will be running against the three ameigos : Richard , Scott, and Dan. That was told to me by a Republican. They will really need that Healthcare ,they so much dislike, when we are through with them. As the campaign unfolds you will be exposed to some new “Out of the Box” ways of attacking this state we are in now. Just to give you a taste of what is to come , I with some help from Senator Jim Timilty, will be unfolding the largest Solar Project in the State with no cost to the Taxpayers. As a retired Electrical Engineer who’s background is in Power, communications and controls, Solar and Wind will be our new, clean industry. Stay tuned and take a line from Anne.

Welcome! I am always happy to see a candidate posting on here!
<
p>I read your ed policy and couldnt agree more – to get good business in this state, we need a strong educational system.
<
p>I read recently
<
p>http://www.boston.com/news/edu…
<
p>that over 40% of Massachusetts 3rd graders don’t read at a 3rd grade level. which really shocked me. To me it seems like we need to start reaching children even younger (full day K, Pre-K) to make sure that we continue to lead the nation in education.
<
p>Are you in favor of expanding kindergarten and pre-k? Any other ideas/perspecitves on how we can improve that pecentage?
electstan says
Yes, Pre-K and Kintergarden are important and needed in many more cities and towns. As the name implies “garden” this is where we start the development of the best learning years. I also believe we need smaller classrooms at this age to properly develop the youth of tommorow. This is not said because the MTA supports me, it is what I have come to believe after years of data review and complaining about school budgets. A good educational system is one of the five key components of attracting business as well. Having been part of site selection for major companies, I know what they ask about and this is one. So it may seem costly at first glance but it is far more costly if you do not do it.

I’m always surprised by a candidate who will post once on here and then disappear, never to comment again. So I am grateful for you taking the time to write back.
<
p>I couldn’t agree more with your stance. You should put some of it on your website – incase people don’t see it here.
<
p>Best of luck with the campaign.

<
p>Roache ran an excellent campaign in this district and I’m going to try to match his admirable performance.
