John was not shy either about discussing the elections he lost and the legislation he wasn’t able to get passed (like citywide free Wi-Fi). Also, he brought the personal in with tales of his upbringing and more recently how Isberg and other would tell him when he had less than stellar ideas.
It’s a wide-ranging conversation about Boston politics past and present. He fudges only on whether his new position will derail his first-grade, non-stop dream of being Boston’s mayor.
