The community where I live is now about as pro-DREAM Act as it’s going to get. All we need is the President of MIT, Susan Hockfield, to come out stronger in support of the DREAM Act and we’re set.
All of this means nothing, however, if U.S. Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) doesn’t make a decision soon on the DREAM Act. U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has already signaled a willingness to move forward on the DREAM Act and it’s time for Republicans like Brown to meet Reid halfway.
If Brown doesn’t want to support the DREAM Act, then the least he can do is say so sooner rather than later so that we can focus on Republicans that have supported the DREAM Act in the past.
