These ladies, all of whom appear among Hudak’s 1,503 friends, are (from the top left and going left to right) Julianna Erdesz (Miss Nevada 2010), Nicole Houde (Miss New Hampshire 2010), Ashley Bradarich (Miss Illinois 2010), Nicole Michele Johnson (Miss California 2010), Ashley Strohmier (Miss Missouri 2010), Kimberly Gittings (Miss Georgia 2009), and Heidi Voight (Miss Connecticut 2006). And those are just the ones it was easy to pick out from their obviously pageant-ish profile pictures.
Now, maybe all these beauty pageant winners really are big Bill Hudak backers. But somehow, I kinda doubt it. So, um, what’s up with this?

There’s some Conservative talking head out there who’s a former Miss Something-or-other. These ladies could be “friends of a friend”.

Buy Hudak’s a stupid twit and rather tyrannical fellow.
<
p>I met him while I was doing viz outside a restaurant in Newburyport where Coakley was having a fundraiser or rally or something inside.
<
p>So, my first intro to this guy was his car. I don’t remember all of the silly things it said, but one was “Government spending 1776: $0. Government spending now: [forget the exact number but I counted and it was on the hundreds of quadrillions order of magnitude]”. Apparently the Continental Army cost nothing to support, and our real budget is 100,000x the size everyone thinks it is.
<
p>Second was the man himself. Another volunteer and I were holding a big sign a few feet in front of his car. The man was not even supposed to be parked there because the restaurant was reserved for a private event he was not invited to. He told us if we didn’t move he would call the police, then proceeded to do so when we refused. They showed up and told him there was nothing they could do since we weren’t on his property and he was actually trespassing.
<
p>I also met some of the most poorly behaved children I have ever met, screaming insults at us from the Scott Brown counter-rally several feet away. They were only topped by the kids I met today who eagerly clamored for “retire Barney Frank” bumper stickers in between physically fighting people over candy. Apparently teaching your children to behave like animals is a Republican family value.

I guess he thinks that because the hot-woman advertising strategy works to sell Bud Light and fast cars, it will also work to sell Bill Hudak.

p>Not sure if it’ll be quite enough in his case, though.

That disqualifies him from high office, nuff said. Also Tierney is probably one of the few longtime Democratic incumbents in our delegation I actually respect, a great guy, and committed to his constituents. Any pol who still visits wakes in this day and age gets a big plus in my book.

He keeps claiming to ‘outraise’ Tierney but that only includes donations he made to himself. It is shameful the Republican party in this state is desperate enough to nominate morons and frauds like this guy and Perry.
