p>After calling two teenage girls who were sexually assaulted by a police officer under his supervision “detainees”, Perry had the following exchange with Janet Wu:
<
p>Wu: But weren’t you there at the scene of one of the illegal strip searches?
<
p>Perry: I was not. There was an allegation that I was in sight of one of the allegations. I never saw anything wrong, in fact…
<
p>Wu: But you were there, but you didn’t see it, is that what your saying?
<
p>Perry: Well, that’s the allegation. The facts are that…
<
p>Wu: But were you there at the scene?
<
p>Perry: I was never at a scene where I observed anything that was inappropriate or wrong.
<
p>Wu: But you were at the general location?
<
p>Perry: That’s correct. It was a cranberry bog.
<
p>And for those not familiar with the facts: Police Sgt Jeff Perry was directly supervising two other police officers when their three police cruisers descended on two parked cars filled with teenagers–yes, in a cranberry bog. While searching one of the cars, Perry has asserted in the past that he did not see one of his police officers sexually assault a 14 year old girl , nor did he apparently hear the crying and screaming from the girl, as reported by witnesses, during the assault.

No police officer with any sense of decency could have let young girls be harmed like this under his watch. I don’t care if it was yesterday or twenty years ago, Perry is a certified mysogynist creep who is still denying his role in this incident. He was the sort of cop who gives all cops a bad name. I’m so glad he is no longer wearing a badge. The fact that he is now serving as a state representative makes me nauseous. Yuk!!!

Questions are rightly swirling, and he should answer them!

Does that make it just go away? Does that mean that these two young woman have forgotten about it? Methinks NOT!
<
p>What kind of police officer is at the scene and admits to being so unobservant. GAG ME…. I can’t believe that he can go around with his bare face hanging out!

Two questions that clearly should have been asked:
<
p>1) Why do you think, as you said in a recent interview, that it was “good police work” to go to the girl’s house on an unauthorized visit (Where its alleged he told the parents “She pulled her pants down for us”)
<
p>2) Why, after his conviction and sentencing, did you visit Flanagan in prison?
<
p>and you could throw in a third rhetorical question: 3) Who “voluntarily” resigns as a 28 yr old police Sgt. to pursue business oppotunities? Many police officers have side jobs (inlcuding law practices).
<
p>Bottom line is that Perry was, and probably still is, friends with a pedophile. Flanagan was never a police officer, he was a predator with a badge and Perry vouched for him, before, during AND after.
