Ask for a sample specimen ballot by email… for example email
election at cityofboston.gov
Especially useful for many elderly folks, people with ADD, learning disabilities, or other deficits who might like to observe the graphical layout of the ballot before going to the poll. Sometimes there’s a name on the ballot you didn’t expect. Sometimes the ballot graphic layout is disorienting arranged in a unexpected way.
Ballot graphics need updating for our times rather than such an ancient inappropriate use of for example the plus signs after names.
