I didn’t realize how much of a bipartisan Charlie Baker was until I looked at his campaign contributions between 2001 and 2005, courtesy of the MA Office of Campaign and Political Finance:

In terms of the dollar amount of contributions, that’s 57% Democrat and 43% Republican. It’s nice to know that Baker is so adept at working both sides of the legislative aisle – that bodes well for his ability to work with the powers that be in the MA legislature. (Curiously, there appear to have been no contributions to Democratic back-benchers.) Worryingly, Baker’s bipartisanship appears to have ended in 2005, so that might cause him some trouble with a Democratic legislature should he win the Governorship.
