Nice glasses…
A poll just released by Politico
The poll found that 81 percent of those polled get their news about the midterm elections from cable channels, like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, or their websites, compared with 71 percent from national network news channels, such as ABC, NBC or CBS, and their websites.
Among cable news channels, Fox was the clear winner, with 42 percent of respondents saying it is their main source, compared with 30 percent who cited CNN and 12 percent who rely on MSNBC.
Shows many people now rely on Cable news vs. the traditional networks… and the cable channel of choice is FOX.
Fox’s opinionated personalities were also rated as having the greatest positive impact on the political debate in the country. Bill O’Reilly was rated as having, by far, the greatest positive impact, with 49 percent of respondents rating him positively, and 32 percent negatively.
Glenn Beck was the second most-positively rated personality, with 38 percent of respondents saying he had a positive impact, and 32 percent saying he had a negative impact.
…MSNBC’s personalities were largely ranked as unknown by respondents: 70 percent said they had never heard of Ed Schultz, 55 percent said they had never heard of Rachel Maddow and 42 percent said they had never heard of Keith Olbermann.
Another good sign about November. Or… is this just another bad poll with meaningless results? I know, I know… the only poll that matters is when the people vote. Ok.

Doesn’t make MSNBC less grounded in reality or Fox moreso. Facts aren’t decided by popular vote or TV ratings.

America is actually spelled A-M-E-R-I-C-A, not M-S-N-B-C.

as proof of something or other a little while back. Then Republicans got destroyed in the elections.

p>It’s not going to happen this time, but John what are you posting? It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

This diary proves nothing. I’m simply pointing out the energy and passion of conservatives during this election cycle. BMG has made fun of Tea Party protestors for over a year now and blown them off as fringe loons. Primarily results have shown the power of this group. Now this diary shows people are flocking to FOX are even higher numbers than ever before and the liberal equivalent, MSNBC, is getting their ass beat with many people never even hearing of The Ed show. MSNBC should wake up and expand shows like Morning Joe and dump Ed, Chris, Keith, Rachel and Lawrence (before he even starts).

or Jersey Shore. That might make an interesting post.

You can be a fringe loon and still be powerful. I don’t think I should need to supply you with a list.

My comments above may not make BMGers happy but why would they be “deleted” – your ZERO rating. No name calling, no personal attacks… but I am bringing “bad news” for Dems to the forefront.

p>Sorry Kathy that your team is going to get beat but this is America. Your team won and got Obama and control of the House and Senate (Great job by the way). Now Americans will throw your guys out and try a new bunch from my team.
<
p>Your team has a cable channel in their pocket that sucks out loud and Americans don’t watch (or listen to … Air America…GONE!). The conservative cable channel is watched by more Americans and is becoming the source of much of their political knowledge.
<
p>Get used to it and stop trying to silence people just because they disagree with you… not a very “Liberal” way of thinking.

minus the 911 factor. Beck has to be mainstream don’t you know. I only watch lamestream for a reference as to what specific propaganda the controllers want to inject into the minds of predators I have to live in/with, whatever.
Spiritual cleansing breathing aside I move on to people like Klaus Dona, Richard Hoagland, Paul Craig Roberts and Catherine Austin Fitts.

Seriously, what is your opinion of him?
