W.T.F., of course, stands for “what the fuck.” One can easily imagine such a sign being held at a rally protesting Crowne Plaza’s decision to use out-of-state labor. One can less easily imagine the decision process that concluded that it would be a good idea to use a photo of Glodis right next to a sign that prominently (in bright red letters!) uses an abbreviation that is widely known to stand for a non-work-safe word. But maybe I’m just not very imaginative.
Please share widely!

I couldn’t figure out what the part above the WTF was when I got it in the mail on Thursday.
<
p>The funniest thing my wife and I thought about the mailer (other than the campaign mailing it to me) was that is addressed to my name “AND” someone we’ve never heard of “OR” current resident.
kirth says
It has him being “A Longtime Advocate For Seniors,” with four pictures of him hanging out with old folks.
<
p>I assume this means he knows my birthday. Hope he doesn’t forget to send me a card again.

I suppose it should make me feel the way I do when I get carded for alcohol (that hasn’t happened in quite a while).

He’s obviously opposed to a Waste Treatment Facility being built at the Crowne Plaza.

The last poopy plant was built in Guy’s back yard. The Worcester-Millbury waste treatment facility, less than a mile from his parent’s house.

…but I do recall being ID by (I assumed) a call center about who I was voting for for Auditor and I said Bump…so maybe the Glodis campaign did one thing right and did not mail to me (what about my wife?)
<
p>But really, would you somehow expect the quality control people in the Glodis campaign to catch a small “WFT” when they can’t even catch an error in the main headline of the flyer?

Guy just keeps on giving. The front page was epic, the back sloppy and now the message versus reality gets a little fuzzy.
<
p>He seems to be making a big deal about using the Auditor’s office to ensure that MA dollars are spent with MA companies and employ MA residents. That is great and something that all our elected officials should endeavor to accomplish.
<
p>Seeing that this is one of his main points I took a quick look at his expense reports for 8/16 – 8/31 http://www.efs.cpf.state.ma.us… and saw an expense for $251,665 for Fortune Media, Inc. I had not heard of this company before so I did a quick Google search and, lo and behold, they are a California based media company http://www.fortune-media.com/c… Come on Guy, wasn’t there a local company that you could use. You know Mass jobs, not California jobs.
<
p>I am still supporting Mary Z., but it would be a shame if Guy was nominated in the Democrat primary. There are better choices, the state deserves better than Guy.

Tell me that the Fortune Media Group was responsible for the “Reign in WTF” mailing. That would be too delicious.

Guy is a big-picture sort of dude. You can be sure that as auditor Guy wouldn’t get bogged down in details. What a waste of time! Instead, he’ll be expounding expansively on Big Auditor Ideas, and he’ll surround himself with other people who like to pontificate on Big Auditor Ideas, too, just like Guy, because Guy is the sort who likes to surround himself with people just like himself. And besides, who has time to keep track of all those picayune details? No one wants an auditor who’s going to scrutinize minutiae. That sort of thing will only get in the way of the educating the people on Big Auditor Ideas!

I am soooo keeping this mailer — it’s going to be worth something, someday.
<
p>BTW: The W.T.F. isn’t that small, and it’s right next to his head on the picture. The WTF is as large as his forehead on the picture. Can’t believe I missed it the first time — but I was having too much fun with the front… and the ‘opposite day’ style of messaging.

It’s kind of funny… Guy Glodis is living out his bizarro world. The Guy Glodis in the flier is the fictional one (and they couldn’t even get that right). Let’s hope the machine guys who keep propping up his candidacy ‘get it’ and realize the damage he’d do to our party, if elected. He’d be the Sarah Palin of the left, just not as famous (yet).
