I received a piece of literature from the Mike Rush for State Senate campaign that has a picture of him with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino touting Mike Rush as his choice for State Senator in the Suffolk & Norfolk State Senate District. For the record, Michael Rush is anti-choice and wants to bring the right of gay and lesbian couples to marry up for a vote in the State Senate if he is elected.
I thought Menino was pro equal marriage and pro-choice. I know that he has said that he was on numerous occasions during his tenure as Mayor. I hope that all of his supporters that backed him for re-election become aware of this about face on these important issues.

P.S. The EXACT wording on the most recent piece of literature quotes Menino as saying, “‘Mike is the right choice for BOSTON.'” Did he mean to say RIGHT WING?
