What makes Guy Glodis believe he is not subject to the same rules that apply to everyone else?
And, more troubling, why does Guy Glodis refuse to take responsibility for his actions when he is repeatedly caught red-handed?
Today we add federal tax evasion to the growing list of Guy Glodis’ apparent legal violations.
OCPF and the State Auditor have already been determined he has accepted illegal campaign contributions, put campaign donations into his own pocket, used his office to pay for political mailings, awarded public contracts without competitive bids, and provided illegal excessive benefits to his public employees, to name but a few of his transgressions. And he has already paid thousands of dollars in fines to OCPF.
He has offered flimsy and inconsistent explanations and told outright lies about his failure to disclose the real source of a $20,000 loan was a friend who was made a deputy sheriff four months later and is now in jail for investment fraud, and about how receipt of that money was followed within days by a $22,000 deposit into his campaign account.
Now he says the law followed by every candidate regarding federal taxes due on interest earned by his campaign war chest does not apply to him. He refuses to acknowledge and abide by, the law, saying other unnamed people told him he could ignore it.
By now, the voters must be asking: What is wrong with this guy? And how can we elect Guy Glodis, with this record of flagrant disregard for laws relative to political, public, and personal finance, to any position of public trust, especially State Auditor? I know that I am.

….that then-Representative Bump paid such taxes on HER campaign funds when she had them, thus avoiding another gaffe like denouncing putative ethics violations by Glodis when she had been fined for actual ethics irregularities herself.

However, it seems unlikely that a state rep who wasn’t high up in the leadership would amass so many campaign funds that she would be socking them away in investment vehicles anyway. But I suppose anything is possible.

p>If Bump were dumb enough to launch an attack over something she was herself guilty of, she’d deserve to not be elected. It probably didn’t take her long to check her own financing.

Why would a convicted violator point the finger at an innocent man? Ask Suzanne Bump. Arguing that someone has violated the rules after you have been admittedly convicted of taking lobbyist money only happens in the political world. Suzanne bump is arguing that she should be the woman who fixes the Auditors Office, an office that has imense power over government contracts. Really? Well the state of Massachusetts should only elect Ms. Bump if they want to see more pork projects and under the table handouts. We need to be asking what other lobbyist does she affiliate with other than William Sawyer, a known insurance lobbyist.

Dude, you are a newly created sock puppet for the sole purpose of attacking Bump. You have zero credibility.

So I’m helping the BMG guys out by clicking on an advert. What do I find? Our new buddy jlewis2 (couldn’t ya use a different name?) roboposting over at the Phoenix:
<

<
p>(and posted on a story that mentioned neither Ms. Bump nor whatever it is ol’ jl’s so pissy about, no less)
<
p>Which looks eerily similar to this:

<
p>No?
<
p>Then I’m reading this fine thread. Lo and behold. SAME DAMN THING. Some of the same typos, too. Or did you forget to run the damn spell checker, Mr. Imense? (Perhaps you meant Imodium?)
<
p>This is the Glodis idea of social network campaigning?
<
p>Any idiot can cut and paste. Look at me.
<
p>Pleassssssseeeeeeee….. Go away. And take the rest of the Glodious cutandpaste roboposters with you.

You must have missed the BMG advert for the Phoenix’s Worcester Power article. JLewis2 was there, too, with the same oddly unrelated message.
