Thank you, Judge Plitt.

September 28, 2010 By howland-lew-natick

A small crack in the cold, gray cement wall of tyranny has developed.  Within government that more and more shields itself from the light of freedom and truth, a Maryland judge has ruled for the defense in the case of a man prosecuted for wiretapping police.  Oh!, that it will spread throughout government, that federal and state and local agencies show responsibility to the people rather than hide from them.  (Yeah, this is a small victory, but you take what you can get.  The SEC in now able to hide from public scrutiny of their actions by use of law.)

Where are the “statesmen” that will open the crack a little wider here in Massachusetts?  Massachusetts is one of the states that allows police to hide behind wiretap law when engaged in misconduct.  Is there a candidate for any public office at any level that seeks change?  Any freedom lovers?  Legislators? District attorneys?  Attorney General?  Judges?  Governor?
