As opposed to Mr. Adams, who has spent his entire professional career attempting to strengthen discrimination in Massachusetts, Pat has spent the past 24 years helping people get jobs and start small businesses. As a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Mass Rehab Commission, Pat works every day helping severely disabled individuals find and keep work. As a state worker, Pat knows we can find savings but cutting bureaucracy, and as an active member of her union, SEIU 509, she understands the importance of delivering high quality services while treating workers fairly. In the legislature, she will protect reproductive rights and marriage equality and lead the fight for an economy that works for everyone, including middle-class families like the one she grew up in.
