Charlie recently took to the Red Mass Group to voice some complaints about health care premium increases.
In the post, Charlie makes some crazy allegations, including: “[The Governor] attacks me for premium increases, but fails to mention that he has approved every health insurance premium increase since he’s been governor.”
We didn’t think we could let this whopper go, so we were pulling together a bunch of facts showing how Governor Patrick’s work capping health insurance premium increases have led to lower rates for small businesses and working families.
But then, one of the commenters at Red Mass took care of it for us:
Why do you say that Deval has approved every health insurance premium since he has been governor, when that is untrue.
In the Deval tv ads he is talking about how he rejected the health insurance premium increases and how all the health insurance companies needed to reduce their requested increases.
We all know this happened and you have talked about it as a sign of Deval running a rogue government.
Why would you boast about something that is so easily shown to prove is wrong? It hurts the rest of your argument, which is the real issue.
Get it together Charlie!
We already knew that in Charlie Baker’s World he says things that arn’t always true. Just because it isn’t true doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
