Representative Marty Linsky (R),Frank Sargent’s running mate prior to Don Dwight was dumped after it was disclosed he picked up a “Lady of The Evening” off the mean streets in the South End.
Olde Spice was on the elevator at the campaign headquarters located above the old Shreve,Crump & Lowe on Boylston and Arlington Street when Linsky and his aides got on the elevator and started talking not knowing I was a reporter standing behind them. Linsky turned to his aid and said ‘ we pulled that one off and fooled them…’ regarding the allegations he was with the whore in question. The full story broke a day or so later and he was gone. Still have a collector’s item – a Sargent/Linsky bumper sticker.
So, there is a Republican precedent for messing with prostitutes. Eventually, Marty Linsky wasthrown off the ticket for Dwight who later in life had his own set of problems.
In this case it appears that Paul Loscocco is playing the part of the prostitute and Charlie Baker the part of dear “John”, Marty Linsky.
Looks like bad politics is a sexually transmitted disease.
