The annual Roslindale Day Parade is scheduled to take place at noon Sunday. I hope that Governor Patrick’s campaign staff had the foresight to make sure he will attend. There will be several thousand Democratic and unenrolled voters lining our streets, and it would be a smart move for the Governor to appear as it will be televised and rebroadcasted several times before November 2nd. Just a thought.

P.S. I hope that he is not counting on Mayor Menino to deliver large amounts of Democratic voters to the polls on Election Day. He and his organization did not lift a finger for Martha Coakley earlier this year, and she did not come close to getting the margin of victory she needed here to stem the tide from the suburbs.
