Mine in a nutshell: pretty even. Substantively, Deval was mostly on his game; tonally, he never slipped. Baker was pretty good at his “I know how to fix this mess” routine while seeming less like a creepy android than he sometimes does. That might have made it a good night for Charlie if this were happening in, oh, May. Given my take on where the electorate is right now, I think this makes it a pretty good night for Deval.
(Not that it matters, but Cahill seemed saner and more competent than usual, and Stein was as well meaning and unready for prime time as ever.)
