WBZ’s aging political commentator, John Keller, is showing his old Republican roots as he blatently roots on Charlie Baker and dismisses Tim Cahill as an obstacle to electing Baker.
Remember as a radio talker in the 70’s and 80’s with the likes of his mentor, Brudnoy, Keller was a radical conservative libertarian.
As a libertarian one would think that he would welcome the likes of Tim Cahill to run the race to the end. Cahill followed all the rules and regs to get on the ballot and who is Jon Keller and his ilk to tell him to get out.

Keller just HATES Deval because Deval refused to kiss his uh, ring early in the term…
He knows Baker is a snit, but if he’s the price one has to pay to get rid of Deval, so be it…
Case in point:
Normally Keller would be the first one to use his Spin o Meter to laugh at the claim by the Baker camp that there was no deal on Loscoco.
You can imagine the raised eyebrow and him holding his nose.
Yet there he was on the WBZ set on Friday poo-pooing the notion that there was a deal between the Republican candidate, Cahill’s Republican consultants, and Cahill’s Republican running mate!
When it comes to Deval, he’s Howie Carr with a mustache!
for Cahill to run for Gov (conspiring with Patrick and stealing Baker votes) is absurd without proof, but when Cahill’s LG quits, then there “obviously” was a deal. Compounded with the fact that Cahill refuses to quit even though his chances of winning are about equal to Barney Frank being the centerfold in Cosmopolitan next month. I think there’s more truth to Cahill’s deal than Loscoco.
John, please keep your fantasies to yourself, for the love of God.
John Keller was utterly boorish acting like a complete prima donna. He had to be repeatedly told to STFU, left his cell phone on, the ring tone was set like one of those old desk set bell ringers. What a jacka$$.

p>I’m not sure who was more inconsiderate John Keller or the breast feeding mother across the aisle from him who thought it was ok to bring her goo gooing toddler.

He was Keller’s teacher and boorishness was part of his curriculum.
Looks like Jon Keller got an “A” in that course…
