There was a slowdown in Arctic warming in 2009, but in the first half of 2010 warming has been near a record pace, with monthly readings over 4 degrees above normal in northern Canada, according to the report card.

At any level of the government, the chances of any action on climate is inversely proportional to the number of ‘R’s next to elected officials’ names. So please take that into account over the next week and a half.
