Speaking of Tea Parties, the Northborough Tea Party also endorsed Mary Connaughton, and here’s why:
ALL candidates who have appeared at our NTP meetings have pledged, in writing, that if elected they will uphold our core values:
* Strict Constitutional governance
* Fiscal responsibility
* Smaller, less intrusive government
* Free markets
* Strong national defense
* National sovereignty
Joe Malone’s CFO. Mitt Romney’s consultant. And in bed with MassResistance and the Tea Party. Mary ZZZZZZZZZ would sure make one heck of an independent state auditor. Did the Boston Globe really endorse this right-wing political hack? Are you really going to buy her line that she will be an independent state auditor? Do you really want to give her political career a major boost?
No thanks. Whatever else you may think, you can bet that Suzanne Bump shares our values.
MassResistance puts together a guide every election for Massachusetts residents concerned with social issues, like the current guide you linked to. They didn’t really endorse any of them, they just color code the good ones and the bad ones.

p>I think what swayed them on this was Bump marching in pride parades, like Baker did. (“Don’t vote for Baker” they say, and don’t worry we won’t). Also, Connaughton signed the infamous petition and hasn’t backed down from it, saying that it is irrelevant to the job. But it’s funny that most people are probably choosing who to vote for here based entirely on where they stand on marriage. It’s not funny, actually, it is a travesty, but such is the state of our state.
Glad to know this particular Tea Party at least is not pushing a ridiculous “state sovereignty” “10th Amendment” obsession.
Has Mary Z ever hired any Satanic Ritual Killers? Like Suzanne Bump did with Robin Murphy.
