BOSTON TALK RADIO – THE BIG – BIG LOSER

Wonder if advertisers will pull out from BIG LOSER talk radio stations, Entercom’s WRKO and its Jock/Pol WEEI and Greater Media’s WTKK?

Tom Finneran, Todd Feinburg, Charlie Manning and Howie Carr on WRKO and their jock/bigot counterparts Dennis&Callahan all predicted a Republican sweep locally as did Michael Graham, Jay Severin and Michelle McPhee on WTKK.

Charlie Baker practically became a cohost on these stations to the degree that such media coverage could be considered a political donation in kind.

Now, when Baker lost the ilk of Howie Carr practically disowned poor Charlie Baker who Carr described as a failure of a candidate who should never have run for governor.

If you expect loyalty from Howie Carr visit Jerry Williams grave in Duxbury and maybe his spirit will tell you about Howie Carr’s loyalty to the man who created this monster.

As to advertiser on WRKO, WEEI and WTKK do you really want to be associated with such losers?

      I have seen all to many GOP bumper stickers on beat up old pick up trucks,dump trucks and stake bodies.

      p>These are the guys who spend the majority of their day locked in a 3 foot by 6 foot metal can.

      p>The conservative message is getting through to a block of voters that used to be OUR BASE.  The guy who straps on a pair of boots in the morning, works with his back used to vote Democratic down the ballot but now he is leaning the other way.

      p>It is not because Democrats have lost the way, we just aren’t getting the message out.  Our message resonates better, but these working class blue collar Joes need to hear it.

      • most of their commercial airtime was filled with non-commercial, non-paying PSA’s Public Service Announcements.

  2. Does anyone here listen to 1510 AM Revolution Boston?  Looks like a progressive lineup but I haven’t had a chance to listen.

    • Jeff Santos puts on a good locally focused show in the morning.

      p>Now that I think about it, he’s probably the exact opposite of Dennis & Callahan.  He does a political show that has some decent sports discussions, whereas they do a sports show that has some horrible political discussions.

    • Listen at 3Pm…Thom Hartmann is a great national show and is information heavy to make sure we win the water cooler debate, which is where election are also won
