The Globe posted an article about Grossman’s 11th hour Red Sox license plate allegations (“shock and outrage”) at 5:00 pm this afternoon. I certainly hope that voters have the opportunity to read this before they go to the polls tomorrow. They might also want to check out the Jimmy Fund website for further clarification.
I’m a Democrat, but Karyn Polito’s a local girl made good and I believe she was unfairly smeared by the Democratic candidate. Just sayin’.

Stop with the “misstate” wording, it’s a lie!

No surprise about the silence here. Funny how people will lower their ethical standards for their own candidates.

resorting to the old dirty, gutter politics of the past. Grossman is a disgrace and should be ashamed of himself. No wonder the Globe is on the brink of bankruptcy with ever dwindling readership.

I can’t find any such article, and I can’t say I have paid much attention to Grossman’s ad. However, I did read the Globe’s article revealing the distribution of the low numbered plates to Polito’s friends. No doubt there is currently no hard proof of corruption, but there has been absolutely no explanation as to why the low-numbered plates were not auctioned off as they have been for previous special plates, and why Polito’s friends and family got plates ahead of people who were earlier in the sign-up list. That taken with the report that Polito’s name was written on the applications in question leads to a pretty clear inference of inappropriate influence.
