Dear Sell the Helicopters,
Actually what countries like ours are doing is trying to buy “excess” helicopters” from Australia. They apparently have 24 that they could sell for a group price of 2 Billion.
Let’s see 24 into two billion is about 87 million for each helicopter……….just think of all the families you could help for just one of those things.
My advice is to tell you that your continued work to help grieving, bewildered families in OUR neighborhoods will help you transform your anger at OUR country’s wrong headed military strategies to promote democracy in the countries like Afghanistan.
And maybe you can committee a little time to local peace organizations. In my neighborhood we are blessed with an organization called Dorchester People for Peace, and I think they would agree with you about selling the helicopters and funding our communities. See below.
