ThinkProgress has a clip of Congressman Jim McGovern explaining to his colleagues why no federal agency should advertise on Fox News. The context was a GOP-called “emergency” hearing on defunding NPR. Funny how relief aide to Japan or job creation has not been subject to any emergency hearings.

I’d be happy if federal agencies never advertised. It’s just big government propaganda anyways.
