She’s gonna do it. She’s really gonna do it.
CNN has exclusively learned that Rep. Michele Bachmann will form a presidential exploratory committee. The Minnesota Republican plans to file papers for the committee in early June, with an announcement likely around that same time.
Excellent, excellent news. Bachmann, in addition to being a lunatic, is in no way, shape or form ready for the harsh scrutiny of a presidential campaign. It will be Palin/Couric on steroids.
The reality, of course, is that she’s running for Vice President. But she’ll be in the debates, and her Republican colleagues will have to deal with her there and elsewhere by responding to her crazy without alienating her base. This will be a really good one to watch.

Not since the Thrilla in Manilla will a bout be so eagerly anticipated. I’d pay-per-view for that.

I guess it’s good news. The freak show will drain some oxygen from the room, but it might help with Obama fundraising.
<
p>Take her seat! Clearly that would be an uphill battle, but it would be satisfying.

p>Heck, you gave the Tea Party response to the President. Look into it, your welcome.

I think she’d be awesome for the Republicans. Between Huckabee, Bachmann, Palin (if she goes), Pawlenty with his newly discovered inner drawl, and Newt, the spectacle would be worth the price of admission.

Barack Obama! Between the new illegal war, renewing the patriot act, strengthening the position of homeland security and bring back guantanamo…who needs michele bachmann?!
