Sources tell BMG that Bill Clinton has decided to move to Massachusetts in order to challenge Scott Brown for Senate next year. Our source, who requested anonymity because the matter had not yet been publicly disclosed, tells us that the Clintons never really liked living in Chappaqua, and no longer need to retain a New York residence since Hillary Clinton is now Secretary of State. They have not yet settled on a location for their Massachusetts residence.
Mr. Clinton, who has become an avid new media reader, is reported to have seen this BMG post, which apparently cemented his growing concern that the Democrats will be unable to take back Brown’s seat. “If you want something done right, you have do it yourself, so that’s what I’m going to do,” said Mr. Clinton, according to our source.
Ted Kennedy’s little black book was just picked up at auction by someone named Bubba.
to show that Republicans have no sense of humor?
I got that this was an April Fool’s joke so I played along. What can you not laugh at the well documented sexual exploits of Senator Kennedy and Bill Clinton.
I am lightened up. It’s Marc that’s not.
This, like RedMassGroup, is a political blog, and therefore contains no senses of humor. Real humor is self-directed, and therefore projects confidence rather than fear, and therefore doesn’t come across as dickish sniping.
…and that she would run for the Senate from there. But – Kennedy wasn’t ready to retire and Moynihan was and the rest is history.
Then she can be replaced by Sen. Kerry and all the up and comings (Driscoll, Warren, etc) can vie for an open seat (JK’s). Win win.

p>And she’s always known what baseball team to root for, even if it’s changed, um, a couple of times. Welcome to Red Sox Nation!
You typed “rc” in the first word instead of “s”!
There’s no fool like an April fool. : )
A good April Fool’s Day story, because it appeals to something the typical BMG reader wants to believe (a strong challenger to Brown, etc.). In my opinion, the best of all time is this article about a phenomenal young pitching prospect. As I recall, when readers of Sports Illustrated who were Mets fans found out it was a hoax, they weren’t too happy.
I agree that this might be the best AF joke of all time. Unfortunately, I knew it was a joke before I read the article 26(!) years ago, but I still found it great reading. Thanks for the pointer – I’ll have to read it again.

p>A really cool touch was that a tip-off was in the sub-headline (added capitals mine):
