Why not save save some time and money;
Barney Frank and other can agree that they screwed up, and put back what they took apart-Glass Steagall.
The general concept is you can be a commercial bank which takes deposits and gives loans or an investment bank which does all sorts of things; but you can’t be both.
any while the world is more complicated that when GS was written the core concept holds true.
