Over fifty people from Newton and Wellesley gathered informally Thursday night to show support for Elizabeth Warren’s candidacy for the US Senate. Should she declare, she has a groundswell of volunteers ready to work towards her election. This was not part of Elizabeth’s listening tour—she was not present—but a coming together of folks eager to see her represent the Commonwealth. Her efforts for American families have not gone unrecognized. Getting the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau up and running has been nothing short of breathtaking. Please run, Elizabeth!

I thought it was stalled by the GOP.
…but the GOP has threatened to block confirmation of any permanent director.
