Poor Mitt Romney just can’t catch a break. He does well on a bunch of debates and gains plaudits from pundits for how much he’s improved, only to sh!t the bed in the one that just took place in Iowa, and on national broadcast TV, when he really needed a good night. He runs on his business experience, only to have his chief opponent in the GOP primary call him out for “bankrupting companies and laying off employees over his years at Bain,” echoing what Democrats have been saying for months.
And then someone digs up this oldie but goodie, from the 2002 Governor’s race with Romney talking to an NECN reporter:
Here’s the transcript, in case you can’t see the video:
The old standby definitions of who votes for which party have been blown away in this campaign. I think people recognize that I’m not a partisan Republican, that I’m someone who is moderate and that my views are progressive.
Well, that should get the old flip-flop machine flapping again. đŸ˜€

John Tehan says
He’s saying that Democrats are clearly scared of him, that’s why they’re digging up all of this stuff from the past. Let’s not let reality get in the way of a rebuttal of your own words, Mitt – from DailyKos:
Pure comedy gold – this campaign just gets better and better!
